- Improve Your Fleet Numbers. Reduced accident rates and shop time. Increased fleet productivity and decreased operating costs. Improved driver safety, job satisfaction and retention. These are proven, measurable positives of video telematics and ADAS technology. The AP1 delivers them at a lower cost than the competition.
- Reduce Accident, Litigation and Insurance Costs. With its unique, integrated combination of ADAS and video telematics, the AP1 improves driver performance and delivers reliable evidence to reduce costs related to accidents, litigation and insurance premiums.
- Minimize the Risk of New Technology Adoption. The AP1 is fast and easy to install, minimizing installation-related disruption of fleet operations. It’s easy to learn, reducing training time to a minimum. And the AP1’s competitive price provides operational improvement at a low cost. It’s a low-risk, win-win decision.

Advanced GPS
Assisted GPS (A-GPS) will automatically trigger if a satellite GPS signal cannot be fixed with a minimum of three satellites. GPS data is drawn from local cell towers to enhance the data from the device’s GPS receiver. This is especially beneficial when the GPS receiver is in a location that is not in the “line of sight” of a satellite (e.g., surrounded by tall buildings, bad weather conditions). AP1 records the location data source, so customers are aware if the location is from A-GPS or GPS satellites.
Advanced Driver-Assistance System
All the recorded information is great after an accident, but what if it could be avoided altogether? With the built-in ADAS, the AP1 will deliver various audible chimes to warn the driver of potential collisions and important road alerts.
- Forward Collision Warning: Alerts driver of a potential rear-end collision.
- Forward Proximity Warning: There's an object in the forward proximity and a collision is possible (at low speeds).
- Lane Departure Warning: Your vehicle crosses a solid lane line on either side of the road.
- Forward Vehicle Start Alert: The vehicle in front of you begins to more while you remain stopped.
Easy Installation
Installation is as easy as mounting the dash camera on your windshield and plugging the main cable into your vehicle's OBDII power port. The AP1 App will help you quickly calibrate your dash cam and adjust settings on the fly.
