This hardwire kit activates parking mode on your A329S dash cam, protecting your vehicle while parked. It also frees up your cigarette lighter outlet. Built-in low-voltage protection cuts power if battery drops too low (adjustable from 11.8–12.4V or 23.6–24.8V), preventing battery drain. Also works with most USB-C devices like GPS units and radar detectors.

Quickly tag and preserve those important video files, without taking your eyes off the road! Once paired via Bluetooth with your A329S, simply tap the big button of the remote control when you see something you need to save for later. The current video file segment will be preserved until you can access the recording on the memory card.

Fuse Tap Bundle

We also include a bundle of nifty "add-a-circuit" fuse taps (8 taps, 2 of each type) with this dashcam DIY bundle. Using a set of crimpers or pliers, the fuse tap crimps on to the end of the VIOFO's direct-wire harness power wires (one constant power, one switched power), then simply plugs in to your fuse box! Your vehicle's factory warranty will remain fully intact, as there is no chance of damaging any wiring or other electrical components when using other more invasive methods of tapping in to a vehicle's electrical system. The fuse taps can be removed later if you need to sell or trade in your vehicle, leaving no trace that there was ever anything there, pretty cool!

Our included circuit tester (a.k.a. "test light") helps you quickly identify the correct "always on" and "ignition-switched" fuses in your fuse box, so you know exactly where to connect the VIOFO's wire harness to the fuse box (by way of the included fuse taps).

What are the improvements in the A329S Series compared to the A329?
A: The A329S Series supports 3-channel recording and offers optional modules including infrared fisheye cabin camera, telephoto camera, and waterproof camera. It also introduces a new parking mode—low power impact detection, and a video multiplexing feature.

What are the upgrades to the cabin camera in the A329S?
A: It's upgraded to 2K resolution for clearer in-cabin footage, with a 210° ultra wide-angle lens that captures both the interior and outside, reducing blind spots.

Can I use the GPS module from the A329 on the A329S?
A: Yes, the GPS module can be used with both the A329 and A329S.

What's the maximum MicroSD card capacity supported?
A: A329S supports up to 512GB MicroSD cards. VIOFO original cards are recommended.

How to enable parking mode?
A: Use the HK4/HK6 hardwire kit to enable automatic parking mode (supports low power impact detection, hybrid parking recording, time-lapse, low bitrate, and auto event detection). To enable Cut-off Voltage function, you need to use HK6 hardwire kit.

Why are some videos deleted automatically?
A: Loop recording automatically overwrites old files. Locked/event videos are protected and won't be overwritten.

How do PSSDs and power connect at the same time?
A: The PSSD connects to the Type-C port on the side of the main unit, while the power is supplied through the Type-C port on the GPS mount. This allows both to be used simultaneously without interference.

Can the waterproof rear camera from the A229 Pro be used with the A329S?
A: No, the waterproof rear camera from the A229 Pro is not compatible with the A329S.

Can I buy the front and rear A329S and then add the telephoto camera later?
A: Yes, you can. You just need to upgrade the firmware to the A329T version.

Can I use A229 Pro rear camera cable if I upgrade to the A329S?
A: No, the A229 Pro rear camera cable is not compatible with the A329S. You must use the original rear cable for A329S.
