The Vantrue OBD direct-wire kit is suitable for most cars and trucks (accepts input voltages of 11.6V-40V). Plugs directly into your vehicle's OBD-II diagnostic port. Free up your cigarette lighter power outlet for another cable such as your cell phone charger cable.

Vantrue's OBD2 power cable will enable parking mode safely: the kit will automatic power off when your car/truck battery voltage is detected to be below the safety threshold (11.6v for most vehicles), this will prevent your vehicle battery from being drained completely.

The USB-C power outlet plug is compatible with most USB-C dash cams such as Vantrue E3/N4 Pro/N5, as well as other brands of dash cams with USB "type C" ports.
