In this unique dashcam demonstration photo gallery, we show the completed installation of what we consider to be the "ultimate rideshare driver's dashcam combo". This 3-Channel (3 camera lens) setup, designed specifically for Uber, Lyft, and other rideshare (TNC) drivers is composed of two BlackVue separate dashcam systems: one 2CH and one 1CH. We installed both the forward+inside facing, 1080p full HD night-vision BlackVue DR650S-2CH-IR GPS, WiFi, and Cloud-capable dash cam (for recording out the front windshield and with infrared night vision inside the vehicle) as well as the DR450-1CH single lens 1080p camera (for recording out the back windshield) and two Power Magic Pro units (for independent control of each dashcam) in a 9th Generation (2013-2017) Honda Accord Sport.

You don't have to be a rideshare driver to use a setup like this! If you value all-around inclusive video coverage of your vehicle (in front of, inside, and behind), there's no reason not to go with a setup like this. We just recommend it for Uber and Lyft drivers so both they and their passengers are fully protected in case of any incident, altercation, or dispute.

We've added arrows to this image to help illustrate the viewing angle of the two DR650S-2CH-IR / DR750S-2CH-IR / DR900S-2CH-IR cameras. The front-facing and inside-facing lenses are independent from one another (rather than being fixed into one "module") which allows for much greater flexibility in camera placement options.
From the driver's seat, you can't see the front-facing camera of the DR650S-2CH-IR / DR750S-2CH-IR / DR900S-2CH-IR setup at all! There's nothing to block your line of sight, so your driving safety is not compromised as it would be when using larger dashcams.
We've added an arrow here to point out the inside-facing night vision (infrared-equipped) secondary lens of the BlackVue DR650S-2CH-IR. This camera will still record everything that happens inside the car, even in pitch black, which is one of the most important features of all for an Uber or Lyft driver.

Notice the infrared LED lights on either side of the camera lens; these LEDs emit invisible light to your eyes, but the IR light is picked up by the IR-sensitive camera lens, therefore working perfectly in the dark.
From the back seat perspective of a rideshare passenger, there are no big and bulky cameras that might make you feel uncomfortable. Most riders will never even notice the BlackVue system.
Now let's take a look at the rear-facing DR450-1CH / DR590-1CH. Supplementing the DR650S-2CH-IR / DR750S-2CH-IR / DR900S-2CH-IR with a Full HD 1080p view out the back windshield makes for the best possible 3-channel coverage around your vehicle. Do you see the 450 here?
A closer look at BlackVue's DR450-1CH / DR590-1CH from outside of the back windshield. The 450 is a bit smaller than the front camera of the 650, since it does not have GPS or WiFi built-in.

In the glove box of the Accord, we have mounted two Power Magic Pro control modules (one for each dashcam). The Power Magic Pro allows you to keep the cameras running while the car is parked, to use "motion detection" to record any incident such as a door ding or hit-and-run that may occur while you're away.
