Out-of-Warranty BlackVue Dashcam Repair Process

Is your BlackVue malfunctioning or not meeting expectations? We understand how frustrating it can be when your dash cam isn't performing at its best. As a certified BlackVue distributor and partner, our expert team is dedicated to helping restore your BlackVue to peak condition. Our team of skilled technicians is equipped to handle a wide range of issues.

Our Repair Levels

We offer two stages of repair services:

In-House Assessment

Cost: $75 (paid upfront)

Timeframe: 2-3 weeks once we receive your dashcam

Shipping: You cover the cost of shipping to us and for the return shipping after the assessment.

What Happens During the Assessment?

If We Can Fix It In-House:

  • We'll resolve minor issues like user errors or setting problems.
  • We'll inform you about the fix and arrange for the return shipment after you pay for the shipping cost.

If It Needs Manufacturer Repair:

  • We'll diagnose if there’s a component failure.
  • You have two options:
    • We send it for Manufacturer Repair: See details below.
    • Get a $75 Store Credit: Use this within 30 days towards a new purchase.

Manufacturer Repair

Cost: An Additional $30-$90 (depending on the issue)

Timeframe: 4-10 weeks (plus the initial assessment time)

Shipping: Is covered by us. (Including shipping back to you.)

What Happens During the Manufacturer Repair?

  • We send your dashcam to BlackVue in South Korea for repair.
  • Once the unit is repaired and returned to us, we test it to ensure it’s working perfectly.
  • We’ll then notify you of the repair details and costs.
  • We’ll send your dashcam back to you.
