Andrew Aboudaoud

Originally hailing from West Texas, Andrew Aboudaoud has been proud to call Austin home for the past 19 years. Prior to founding The Dashcam Store, Andrew gained experience as both a dealership-level automotive technician and then later as a software engineer for a research and development firm in the defense sector. As an automotive and technology enthusiast, dashcams were a natural fit when Andrew decided to venture into the world of business. As true safety devices, Andrew believes widespread dashcam use will lead to greater overall accountability (and therefore fewer accidents) on our roadways. Furthermore, by increasing awareness to the sheer number of traffic accidents, injuries, and fatalities that occur every day in this country, a dialogue on how to truly address this public safety issue may begin to take place. Andrew holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and a masters degree from Boston University.

Andrew Hunter
VP of Global Sales
Andrew Hunter, a Texas native raised in Austin, serves as the Co-Founder and Vice President of Sales for The Dashcam Store. Andrew shares in the passion of creating safe driving on the roads across the globe and believes deeply in the benefits of using dashcams. Out of high school, Andrew spent several years in the automotive field in roles ranging from sales to management, and learned a multitude of few hands-on skills along the way. Andrew then transitioned industries in order to continue building his long-term professional skillset. Working for both established as well as startup IT companies such as Dell and Neverfail allowed Andrew to continue his professionally develop as well as hone his leadership skills. When not at work, Andrew enjoys family time with his wife and their three children, building projects, golf, and saltwater aquariums.

Katie Goldberg
Outreach Director
As the Outreach Director, Katie oversees B2C and B2B marketing initiatives and ensures that customers of The Dashcam Store are happy with their purchasing experience. Katie, originally from Chicago, earned her bachelor’s degree in Geography from the University of Colorado Boulder. After graduation, she taught English in Colombia and then moved to Austin to work in the field of international education. Katie was promoted from advisor, to manager, and ultimately found her niche in outreach, which allowed her to combine her passions for helping customers through advising and follow-up with expressing her creativity through email campaigns and writing. After work, you can find Katie studying anatomy, testing out a new recipe, or social dancing around Austin.

Gabriel Rainville
Account Manager
Gabriel is an Austin native who serves as the Account Manager at The Dashcam Store. He aims to create awareness about the importance of dashcams while providing the ultimate customer experience. After high school, Gabriel worked in the service industry where he served in all facets of the company over the years. After 16 years of employment with the same company he found himself in sales and loved it! Since he always had a love for cars and technology, when the opportunity came to join The Dashcam Store team in 2016 he jumped at the chance to sell something he was passionate about. In his spare time, Gabe enjoys being with his family while doing outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, fishing and kayaking.

Gabe Alvarez
Multimedia Producer
Gabe is a native of Austin, TX and the Multimedia Producer for The Dashcam Store. After graduating from the University of Texas Jackson School of Geosciences, he worked as an environmental consultant for a few years until deciding to follow through on his passion for editing videos and producing creative content. Outside of work, Gabe enjoys writing audiodramas, playing hide and seek with his dog, editing television shows, and playing music with his spy band.

David Lavely
Lead Web Developer
David arrived at The Dashcam Store from a suburb of Boston, Massachusetts by way of New Mexico. After high school, he had the privilege of serving as a Gunner's Mate in the US Navy and after doing several stints as a warehouse worker; found that programming was his calling. He has worked with several programming languages, multiple platforms across B2B and B2C industries. When he is not writing code he enjoys cooking, watching his hometown Boston Bruins, collecting fine art or playing one of his guitars.
