In this dashcam installation photo gallery, we go over the final product of hardwiring the new dual-lens, local-WiFi enabled, 1080p Full HD BlackVue DR590W-2CH dashcam in a Nissan Juke.
The BlackVue DR590W-2CH as shown here is identical to the DR590-2CH (note the missing "W" from the name), but the "W" version has local WiFi built-in, whereas the DR590-2CH does not.
The DR590W-2CH is a great option for those looking for affordable but reliable front and rear coverage for their vehicle, with the ability to connect directly to their dashcam over WiFi (to copy files, change settings, or check the aim of the cameras). If you just want to remove the memory card to view your recordings, you can opt for the same exact design but at an even less expensive price point, the DR590-2CH. Regardless of which model you opt for (DR590-2CH or DR590W-2CH), the finished product will look just like the example shown below.

Thanks again to K.M. for coming to see us!
Looking at the front camera of the DR590W-2CH, you can see how it discreetly blends in with the Nissan's rear-view mirror.
A closer look at the forward-facing camera; it looks like it could be a factory-installed vision or safety system, which is great for inconspicuous recording and vehicle security when parked.
From the passenger side of the Juke, we see the forward-facing DR590W-2CH camera and wiring.
A closer look at the compact and silent eyewitness DR590W-2CH front camera. Inside the front camera is the memory card which holds the footage from both the front and rear cameras.
At the rear of the Juke, a rear-facing camera is not visible at all.
Another shot of the rear of our Nissan, do you see the rear-facing camera of the DR590W-2CH?
With the back hatch of the Juke opened up, we can see the placement of the DR590W-2CH rear camera. For this installation our technicians utilized a custom rear lens mounting bracket for the rear camera.
This custom metal mounting bracket secures on the headliner and the rubber trim to hold the rear camera firmly in place. Placement here (rather than on the back glass itself) simplifies installation and ensures no cables are accidentally yanked out when opening the rear hatch or hatch glass (on some vehicles).

Our custom secondary lens mounting brackets were designed by The Dashcam Store and are manufactured in the USA.
With the hatch closed you can see how the rear-facing camera tucks up nicely out of the way. The white LED light can be disabled in the BlackVue DR590W-2CH settings, if desired, for more discreet operation.

From the back seat, the BlackVue front camera is not visible at all! There's nothing to obstruct the view forward.
