How about something completely different: a dash cam built into a rear-view mirror! This unit is really special. Check out the feature list, and watch our review and sample footage videos.
If you're looking for an inconspicuous or hidden recording solution, read on. The VC100 is a dashcam that looks like a mirror. No special installation is required; the VC100 securely mounts on top of your existing rear-view mirror. The lens for the dashcam is on the back of the unit (it peeks past your existing mirror), and the screen/display is built in to the glass of the mirror itself. Have a look at the photos to the left.
If that weren't enough, the VC100 also includes a wireless backup camera! Simply splice the remote camera into your reverse light power cable, then when you place your vehicle into reverse, the rear camera is automatically powered on and transmits video to the display in the mirror. Now you are protected by a dashcam, and as a bonus you can see what is behind you when you back up. Pretty impressive! Consult the manual for how to install and use the wireless backup camera.
A Micro SD memory card (8, 16, or 32gb - Class 6 or higher) is required for use with the DVR-VC100. The memory card is not included but is available for purchase above or on our memory cards page. Save money and ensure optimal performance with our "Dash Cam and Memory Card Combo" by selecting a high quality card with the DVR-VC100 above!

The bottom line
An unbelievable combination of features and design! Impress your friends with this attractive dashcam. We love that this dash cam is so hidden; due to the fact that it doesn't suction-cup mount to the windshield, the VC100 almost doesn't need to be removed from the vehicle when you leave your car unattended! Use your best judgement of course, but this thing is really hard to notice from outside the vehicle.
