Developed in direct collaboration with Toyota™ engineers, The Dashcam Store research and development team has released a new custom metal bracket for rear-facing dash cam lenses, specifically designed for a perfect fit in Lexus and Toyota sport utility vehicles.

Compatible with the BlackVue DR590, DR770X, DR970X and other model rear cameras, our new bracket makes mounting clean, quick, and secure.

Fits Lexus GX, Toyota Land Cruiser, 4Runner and Sequoia models from 2024 and newer, ideal for SUV hatch installations. Also fits Tesla Model Y! Likely fits other vehicles as well (please let us know!).

Installation

Hassle-free, simple 10-second installation! Avoids the need to attach the rear-facing camera on the back glass nor the lift gate itself.

Step 1.

Install the Bracket

With the rear lift gate/hatch door open, gently lift the rubber trim or weatherstripping along the rear roof edge. Gently drop the bracket into place, ensuring the long side slides over the exposed metal lip to securely attach the bracket. Then, simply press the weatherstripping back down into place.

Step. 2

Add the Rear-Facing Camera

Remove the protective cover from the adhesive mount on your BlackVue rear camera, then firmly press the exposed adhesive pad onto the bracket’s mounting plate until it is securely attached. Be sure to keep the rear camera as level to the horizon as possible during this process. Lastly, rotate the lens to the desired viewing angle.
