The DOD Tech DP4 Hardwire kit is designed to provide power for your dashcam while discreetly hiding the connection wires, for a clean and hidden installation.

The DP4 Hardwire kit is a Fuse-to-Socket type of connection cord. This means that it connects to your fuse box, and creates an extra power outlet in your vehicle that may be used to plug in your dashcam.

The DP4 is equipped with low-voltage protection circuitry to prevent the dashcam from draining your vehicle’s battery when the vehicle is parked for extended periods of time. If your car battery drops below a safe level when parked, the DP4 will turn off the dashcam, which will save you from having a dead battery when you return to your car. The LED indicator will flash a green or red light to notify power status, allowing you to know the status of the DP4 at a glance.
